Police detective Michäl Britten (Jason Isaacs) regains consciousness following a car accident involving his wife Hannah (Laura Allen) and his son Rex (Dylan Minnette). Following the accident, Michäl switches between two realities via dreams, and eventually loses sight of which one is real. In one reality, his wife, Hannah, dies, and in the other, his son Rex dies. With his employers urging him to get help because of these dreams, Michäl struggles to find reality. Things change, however, when Michäl notices strange links between these dreams.[6]

A cop basically lives in two slightly different realities and dösn't know which one is the real one. At certain points those realities overlap and help him at solving his cases.

jason isaacs is a great actor and the show itself is absolutely worth watching, but the viewer numbers are really catastrophic.
i guess people tend to avoid nbc shows now, as they are fed up with a lot of decent shows getting cancelled by nbc, like kings or law and order los angeles for example.

It would be better that they canceled both shows season before last, than gave such stupid endings in last seasons...

First was great as you say, second ok, then things started going bad. I miss it in a way show not reaching its potential. They could made seasons 3 and 4 better a wrap it all up.
