Chocolat (2000) - was surprised to see it missing from my collection, checked it again and it was quite satisfactory
Clerks (1994) - saw both parts, the first one was more convincing & natural
Cold Mountain (2003) - very nice, especially the parts with r. zellweger & n. kidman
Hobo With A Shotgun (2011) - didn't expect it to be that much fun, pure grindhouse madness
Matchstick Men (2003) - surprisingly enjoyable flick with n. cage
Out Of Africa (1985) - excellent romance with m. streep & r. redford
Roman Holiday (1953) - excellent light comedy/romance with a. hepburn & g. peck
Romeo Must Die (2000) - fun action movie with jet li & aaliyah
Scent Of A Woman (1992) - top al pacino performance, recommended
Shinobi (2005) - unusual supernatural kung-fu movie (as one imdb user called it: super-fu), with wild action/moves, though somewhat shallow regarding the story/acting - wouldn't mind seeing more of such stuff (other than similar movies, fi. hero, crouching tiger - hidden dragon, house of flying daggers)
The Clinic (2010) - the first part of this horror was very decent, the last part sank into mediocrity
The Gold Rush (1925) - classic c. chaplin movie, one of his best, just don't watch it with too high expectations
The Machinist (2004) - great performance by c. bale, unfortunately the movie starts degrading towards the end
Vidocq (2001) - very nice visuals, depardieu was up to the task, recommended (i saw the bdrip version)
mini-series:
The Thorn Birds (1983) - chamberlain is great as usual, the problematic part is a large dosage of melodrama & some christian propaganda
tv shows:
the last one i saw was 'V' 2nd season, which was pretty lame - other than that haven't noticed any interesting tv shows for quite a while now
anime:
Princess Mononoke (1997) - was a pretty good movie, maybe a bit too childish, still enjoyable

I watched a lot of movies recently but I'll mention only those which i liked:
Rec (2007), Rec 2 (2009) <-- Spanish hand-camera Horror film. It was the first time to watch that kind of movies and i loved it, though, i didn't like the second part as much as the first one. (7/10).
The Hangover (2009) <-- very entertaining comedy film (7.5/10).
Four Lions <-- hilarious, that's the least i could say to describe it. (8/10).
Memories of Murder <-- the best Korean film i watched till now. (7.5/10).
Network (1976) <-- A classic ( a must watch). (8/10).
I also watched a bunch of Israeli films with my best friend and i enjoyed them very much:
The Band's Visit (2007) : (7.5/10).
Lebanon (2009) : (8/10).
Beaufort (2007) : (7/10).

My sassy girl: same actress in wind struck, this one is much better and funny.
Il mare: The original version of the American movie Lake house, just better.
My teacher Mr. Kim: very nice movie.
A millionaire's first love: funny and sad, you know Koreans :)
If you have seen other good korean movies, I would be happy to try them.

Movie: Thor (2011) - It was quite good I enjoyed it.

Bad Teacher (2011) - bad movie, visibly physically deteriorating c. diaz, its just a breast enlargement campaign & 'bad' wins promo
The Tree Of Life (2011) - pretentious nonsense, boredom absolute, has some nice visuals during the first 30 minutes or so, shallow philosophy throughout, a disjointed mess, cheap ending
Mr. Poppers Penguines (2011) - popping out of the box & pooping on carrey (think about what it actually means), did i mention the super-irritating penguin-noise or the lame super-salesman presentation?
Transformers - Dark Of The Moon (2011) - another superhero movie flop this year, 0 believability, obnoxious (human) characters, cgi was pretty good though, oh yeah, whats with the screaming?
Delhi Belly (2011) - what comes out of the belly? bollywood popcorn comedy wannabe (nu-bollywood style?)
Zookeeper (2011) - umm...no, it didn't work, boring animals, laughable gorilla scenes, k. james's attempts at humor got old & redundant real fast and yeah, whats with the screaming?
Horrible Bosses (2011) - can't even begin to describe how low this movie sank, over-the top brainless un-funny junk
Green Lantern (2011) - pitiful action, illogical as hell, laughable 'superhero(es)'

the Defibrillator kills were pretty cool tho ! also its good to see bits of humor back on Dexter which was missing in Season 5 .
Homeland S01E01 - awesome pilot.
Terra Nova S01E02 - average ep. First one was really good.
The first dozen episodes of Invader Zim. I loved this series back in the day, and now it's no different.

I'm currently watching Castle S03
Wrong turn 4. Much and much better than part 3. Nice horror movie.
HIMYM S07E07 and Melancholia. It's a very boring movie so I turned it off in the middle.

I would recommend Spring,Summer ,Fall, ..Winter,Spring. You must've already watched it. It belongs to drama genre though.

Homeland - watched the 4 current episodes but despite the fact that i liked Damian Lewis in Life very much, the show is going a bit too slow for my taste and might not get to see season 2 if it doesn't pick up the pace. I've seen much better shows than this being dropped.
Once upon a time - loved the pilot which strikes my childish chord, but not much to say about it until I see a few more episodes.
Last man standing - nice sharp comedy with Tim Allen, but not really my taste. Still I keep an open mind.
I love Sci Fi series ( Tv Series ) Fringe, Supernatural,Dr.House, The Shield, and much more .....

Another Earth: disappointing for me, poor directing and shooting.
Puncture: real story, unconvincing film, didn't enjoy the theme.
Crazy, Stupid, Love: very very good, I loved Steve Carell in this, I had some unexpected laughs, not the comedy you would expect and not 100% comedy.
Our idiot brother: worth seeing
I'm a cyborg but that's OK (Korean): I wanted to kill myself, booooooooring.
Midnight in Paris: worth seeing, could have been better, great theme and music.
The change up: I was not bored but was not excited, something in the middle, should have been a lot better.
Black swan: Really good if you don't mind just female actors and a ballet theme.
Jan Eyre: Amazing! great scenery, story, and acting.
Father of invention: worth seeing, average.
X-men first class: a lot better than I expected, very good.
Tron: Legacy: amazing effects, not so amazing movie, worth seeing.
True Grit: I didn't like it, LaBoeuf hated the young girl, so did I.
Paul: I didn't like Paul voice! I couldn't get Seth Rogen image out of my head while looking at Paul, not a bad movie, worth a look.
The company men: depressing, well-acted, must see for the unemployed! you still have to submit that C.V !!

The Raven (2012) - an entertaining thriller with an authentic setting and a cast that was quite well chosen
The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) - been to the premiere, the cast i think is better set for the overall spider-man feel. not your average crime-fighting superhero blockbuster with over-the-top fight scenes, but maybe one of the better comic book related movies, in the past years.
Wrath of the Titans - nothing special. I actually liked the first one much better!
RAID:The Redemption - awesome martial arts movie, on the lines of Ong Bak. 8/10

All in all, not too bad, not too good, but enough to enjoy them with a coke and some nachos at the cinemas.

I just finished watching this film of horror, death, mutilation, more death, more mutilation, and more horror. It made me all squeemish just watching it. It was based on some true story of some fruit-cake woman who killed her husband out of jealousy. She told him right before he left her that she would lick his b**ls for him. Just before he left her, he told her how sick in the head she was, and then left her. She killed him and let him rot in some fridge in the shed while she put a bullet in her daughter's shoulder and eventually left her to rot and die too. But in the bathtub.
Then she forced her other daughter to prostitute herself to some greasy old man. In fact, he was so magnificently obese for the teenage daughters that he raped, that dieting probably was the only game beyond his wildest dreams. Then after wards she had her other daughter killed and burned to a cinder. Then her son was stabbed by her youngest remaining daughter who managed to make it through this mental mayhem The mother herself was killed by this same youngest daughter. She eventually shot herself in front of this evangelizing, fake preacher-man. Then the end of the story came. The movie was called The Afflicted. If you like horror and sleaze this is for you. Enjoy. Remember, it's based on a true story of some nutty mother gone totally out to lunch.

Enemy at the Gates In this movie Two Russian and German snipers Try to kill each other during the Battle, It was a good one.

the plot is just too improbable (fi. it took some 20 years for the husband to realize his wife is psychotic, children of various ages do nothing to stop the madness, people missing for a long time, nobody suspects a thing,...), smells like an intentional combination of cheap torture-porn & kiddie exploitation, exaggerated characters serving simply as anti-religious propaganda, all sanctioned by the 'true story' badge that most of the time translates to 'as loosely based as it gets' (or 'forget anyone mentioned it')
it has only 4 user reviews on imdb (1 of them likely fake), conclusion: probably not worth anyone's attention
btw, afaik so far in 2012 there was not a single horror movie worth mentioning as something above the average, just (mediocre) junk similar to the discussed one
