My university doesn't provide one so I've missed quite a few student deals because of this.

With Student deals you mean double yr free Dropbox Account ;) ?

Not only that. There's Amazon, Google, Ebay that usually offer deals for students regarding cloud computing services, or other more obscure services that usually interest science grads.
