Question about Shu Mod

hello to all!

i got a big issue, some trackers that i have only accept the new version of azureus. And the azureus shu is only for the 3.0.2.0 version.

so i did like i saw in the azureus shu seccion. i downloaded the 3.0.4.2 version copied the shu files into the directory of azureus edited the azureus spoof to:

azureus.spoof.boolean=True
azureus.spoof.value=3.0.4.2

and voilá

my question to the masters is this:

is it safe to use azureus shu mode like that?? cause i have been using the version 3.0.2.0 and its great i love it.

so please tell me if i am running on any danger by having my azureus shu mode like that.

yes you can use it like that, the version that you have set will be spoofed to the peers that are connected to you seeing you with azu v 3.0.4.2

i was thinking that this way wasn´t safe, i am glad to know it is safe now i can use it in some trackers that only allow 3.0.4.2

Yes I use that spoof and it works, the best spoof ever made.

asaik, the spoof is only to the tracker.. somebody please confirm. the shu mod implemented the spoof only to the tracker. n yes, I am talkin abt the same spoof you are talking abt, n not the clientspoof plugin or anything.

@hitman: i went back to the mod site n searched n searched. i still hold on to wht i said: the perfect spoof is only to trackers. clients will see your original version of azureus. am confused now!
how did u test the spoof with peers? :confused2: do v have a private tracker here to test out the mods? :rolling_eyes:

tested a lot of times the perfect spoof works to the tracker and to the peers i think that was the reason because shu called it "perfect" :biggrin:

yes tested on a test tracker and as well on normal privat trackers but this isnt something that is adicted to the tracker
