Neowin is proud to present our graphics card rankings list. Below we have a performance rankings list and a price match-up table for each current and recent generation graphics cards.
The idea with this list is to advise you on the performance of each graphics card, in comparison to the others, when you are looking for your next purchase. As such, some older generation graphics cards do not make the list

Performance Rankings
Graphics cards on this list are ranked by raw performance. The placement of GPUs in this list is calculated by both gaming benchmarks and synthetic benchmarks. Card specifications are not used to determine placement of these cards, and the base specifications with stock clocks/VRAM are used for the list.
The current generation of NVIDIA cards are known as "Fermi (v2)" and encompasses the GT 500 series. The current generation of AMD cards are known as "Northern Islands" and encompass the HD 6000 series.
