can't restart my router 2370 Dlink

well my router got this stoopid security script that needs a captcha on login..

i generate the script just fine but when the Jdownload tries to reconnect it juts can't!

i tried asking on JD forums but nothing came out of it! ppl there just shushed me and told me to get a new router!!

Before using it as a doorstop, did you check if alternative firmwares can be installed on it? I never tried that because I have a lousy 3COM OC, but apparently you can do amazing things with that.

i read some where that this specific router can't accept any custom firmware (part of it's crappy Anti-piracy protocol) don't remember if that's right, will recheck that..

uh, are you sure that's the model number? I've never seen that model of D-Link.

Also, even if you end up scrapping it and getting a new one... at the very least try updating to the latest version of the D-Link firmware and giving it another shot. It might be a bug, who knows.

that's the one..i will see if i can update the firmware but i doubt that they will remove the security feature in an update! and that captcha is one the thing holding me back
