syfy has decided to cancel stargate universe after just 2 seasons:

Stargate Universe cancelled by SyFy (http://www.bscreview.com/2010/12/stargate-universe-cancelled-by-syfy/)

this makes me a bit sad, coz although i found sg1 and sga borderline unwatchable, i really enjoyed stargate universe, especially robert carlyle as dr. rush.

That's indeed sad news. I also enjoyed the first season! I honestly didn't expect to end so soon!

Never watched the other 2 shows but I did like sgu, sad to see how they keep cancelling all the good sci-fi shows just like with tscc.

SG Atlantis was very good at the beginning, then started to drift away slowly. But like I said before, I personally really liked SG Universe for some reason. Will it at least be a full season?

The Sci-fi genre in general is going down the drain, imho. I really would like to see more Investors for properly scripted Fiction, that those cheap ass reality tv type shows who feature idiots, who one can feel superior about, sitting on ones couch at home. *bha*

SG-1 was the prime time for stargaters.
Atlantis was weak, though it managed to get 5 seasons. Mainly because of SG1 fans.
Universe, well, it's psycho. people are twisted and too deep for a sci-fi series. Has pottential but the writers are idiots. the geek and the girl (the one alive, mutating) have a "interesting" relationship.

Universe hasn't made any fans, the ones that watch are scrapes from SG1 or Atlantis.

A little off-topic but there was supposed to be a movie after the Atlantis signoff. people still talk about it but nothing has happened.
