New posts and default search filtration

SBI forum is becoming heavy. Flood of new posts and many of them in my opinion unnecessary. It would be nice to have an option to filter default search and new posts with similar to one that is used in Forums To Exclude From View.

I presume you already know about adding &exclude=1,2,3... to the search URL?

If so, last time I asked, there wasn't such a hack for vB4 yet.

for several reasons a certain amount of addon developers chose not to support vb4 so ...
but in case such an addon would surface be sure that we'll include it
