[Tut] Check if your proxy is Detectable or Not

i came across a great site which tells you if your using Proxy or not, so you would know if your proxy is detectable and can be caught by site mods, it really comes in handly when your trying to get in to sites who have blocked your region.

i tested out myself first, with a normal proxy (planetlab etc) it gives you, you might be using proxy and with if your using undetectable proxies it shows you No proxies were detected.

i did searched SB-I before making this post that no one eles have posted this before so yes im the first one...

Relying solely on that tool isn't a good idea. You can find a proxy that easily bypasses that, but may have trouble when a human person starts checking.

More like a mini-tut, heh. I'll still leave it in this section, it could come handy for those from banned countries that want to resort to proxies.

i checked out your both "this" and the first link is kind of high tech so normal user like me wont understand at all, while the other link you gave me gives me a "You are using high-anonymous (elite) proxy (if you are using proxy)" on my real IP.. works fine but still can confuse abit with you are using part..

the link i posted is also similar to yours but its more user friendly :) plus i dint saw any proxy checkers so thought it would be a good idea to post here to help out others to some extend

anon as for your second link i did some testing and with using ultrasurf as my proxy i used your second link (ip.cc one) and got "You are using high-anonymous (elite) proxy (if you are using proxy)" and good in everything meaning this proxy checker checks it as no proxy making this proxy good, but when i tired with my link it gave me you might be behind proxy.

IP.cc only checks the headers sent to determine if it's a proxy or this. Your site checks much more:

The HTTP_CACHE_CONTROL header exists, and is non zero. This may indicate a caching proxy.
HTTP/1.0 protocol does not include the HOST header, but we have received one. This indicates a proxy server receiving a HTTP/1.1 header from you and passing it on, while claiming only HTTP/1.0 for itself.
The header HTTP_CACHE_CONTROL includes proxy telltales.
You have no reverse DNS entry. This may have been intentionally left blank as a concealment tactic.

Like Gabo, I think it's not really a tuto (I thought to something more detailled before readind the post), but nevertheless the link 8802 (an anon) provided are interesting (but I alraedy knew anon's links, not 8802's). So, thanks.
