used to torrent since the original Suprnova days ! that site was one stop torrent site back then and later Mininova , isohunt emerging as its main competitors . if i remember correctly EliteTorrents , Torrentbytes , filelist (filepost now) , FSC , ST were one of the earlier and best private torrent sites back then . Filelist was like SCC/ScT back then , it had great pres compared to others and the site everyone wanted a piece of .

2002, this girl I had a huge crush on had a brother who was like 17 at the time, and he was playing DOOM 3, before it was released. So I was like "WHOA WTF?! But how!?" so he pretty much introduced me to torrenting, and BitTornado, I started using SuperNova.org for awhile, until it closed down. Then came to know BC-G, joined there, and eventually started going into private trackers instead.

I still rather use TPB for music downloads, instead of What.CD and whatnot. But for games, and especially the rarer stuff, definitely private trackers :D

When I was young, I never seeded to anyone, hitting & run was just for fun, those days are gone...

But Lineage 2 was unplayable on a 1Mbit line if I raised the upload speed limit from 7kB/s :wdabs:

All of this was in the uTorrent 1.5-1.6 days maybe. Still have that config folder. So many good memories.

Built a good ratio up using my shitty connection, got invites to IPT and SCC straight off the bat lol, signed up, did well. Signed up to TL on christmas openings 2 years ago, but got into trouble in real life and got a even shittier connection (less money). Eventually found this place :)

I don't torrent as much now as I used to but in place of that I do a bit more downloading from file hosting services. Granted, it is a bit different most especially when the files are not on the file hosting service for very long but if the files are of smaller file size it normally won't take too long.
