I don't have dupe account because I fear of messing up (torrents snatched, persona, etc) all of my account at that particular tracker.

Are accounts made after getting banned can be considered as dupe too?. Guess not, right?. If that is considered dupe too then we'll have many confession and dupe account count here.

I once made a dupe on RevTT when they opened signups the last time, but end up losing it, since they discovered me using it through proxy. Now the only place I have dupe is IPT, once I tried to give one of them away, but no one was interested, so I'm keeping it just in case.

On topic: I've had four at TL (given two of them away), and currently own a bunch at RevTT and What.cd. You never know what can happen, and if I ever get banned I don't want to have to look for another invite. :shifty:

A tip, apart from what you can find in the reregistration tutorial: try to keep the accounts as different as possible. Upload an avatar and description if the other one doesn't have those, use different browsers, etc.

Can i use that account and my legal account normaly from my place using another browser?

You have to use different IPs. Always. Not just when registering. Seriously, what would you think of two accounts on the same IP at the same time?

Good luck getting that to work, if you use a router or your ISP remembers the last IP address it gave you.

check your ip @ showip.com - (ro) (http://showip.com) then go to cmd & write {

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew

}

then disconnect from the internet .

if your isp uses dynamic ip this will work else if static then you'll have to buy some ip's from your isp.

go back to showip.com - (ro) (http://showip.com) your ip will be changed .

But if that's explained by my thread... you use different IPs, e-mail addresses, usernames, passwords, and probably a BitTorrent client instance for each one. It's all about the accounts not looking similar to each other.

I have around 3 accounts on important tracker.
But if it's a tracker that I don't use, I don't worry about making another account.

I gave up all of my dupes, I think. Actually, I have given up many of my tracker memberships since this thread was started. In the end, I was just using the slot of someone who could actually make a good member. And there's a couple of places I don't like to associate with anymore.

I have a professional violin friend that i show what.cd to, and he was so amazed by the content, and wanted me to download stuff for him. I was pretty annoyed but still downloaded it for him. Told him to take the interview but he thinks its too much trouble, just asks me to download music for him

Anyways i should start making some dupes for stuff that i use alot like PTP, BTN and What.cd

I just did something similar. When Apollo came out, I managed to create 2 accounts, main one and a dupe for cheating researches. Ended up keeping mine, and the spare with both huuuuge buffers.

Got a friend who isnt very musical to be honest, I started to recommend him albums and even throwing him .torrents to download stuff, until I thought about handing over the spare account with lifetime buffer. And he's been using it. I feel really nice tbh, not only I introduced him to a new world, but without the trouble of understanding or strugglin with ratio and stuff.

Only advice I gave him was, dont post and dont send any messages. :tongue:

Back in the day, I needed some files from these trackers. No one helped me, neither with torrents or files. Due to this, I learned to share.
All my friends have access to these accounts but I am very careful of whom I entitle friend.

The truth of the matter is I don't download that much these days. So, by inviting other people, these accounts are actually used.
I only download from elearning trackers but my friends are nuts about movies, games, porn... And they do make 100GB hole in my accounts each month. Except for porn, that is downloaded about 500GB a month ...

I usually have 2 accounts at each site, I try anyway.

And if you think about it, that should have been an honor to them, in a twisted sort of way. We all wanted to get back at their staff, but "the mods are douches, I'll make some dupes to show them" alone only lasts so long as a motivator. The real reason was simply that we thought the site was that good... and it was that good.

Did I mention one of my accounts reached Elite status? I wanted to keep going for Torrent Master, back when that was the maximum rank you could reach via automatic promotion, but 500 torrents was just too damn much.

You can invite yourself by making dupes on GGz, but you better not fuck up cos your whole tree + red linked accs will get crushed.

Lame? Takes you just 5 minutes, just give them a waffles profile link or w.e and you will be fine. And you get yourself a non linked GGn account. Its an amazing site for games, and a quick access to several others..
