Thunderbird problem

So I'm using this great software. I have three email accounts. One is mine and the other two are for my dad. Now the thing is, ever since I upgraded to latest version (3.0.4) I'm getting strange problem. Usually when you open the software it downloads new emails, but in my case nothing happens. It's like searching for new emails, but never downloads them. I don't know why this happens. Only way to fix this is to completly reboot PC. The problem doesn't happen every time, it's completly random.

to me sometimes it happens with Office outlook and i found out that nod32 sometimes can block from getting some email...

If he doesn't delete the other those should still show up..

Trust me, new email are there, TB just doesn't want to connect for some reason.
