Because Google already collects enough data from you for them to receive "anonymous" usage stats.

Yeah, my mistake.

Well, doesn't that work by asking Google if every site you visit is bad or not?

And if not, you can just use OpenDNS and save some HDD space

If you're careful with what kind of sites you surf you shouldn't get in trouble in the first place - I never did ever since I learned what to avoid.

But for the less computer-savvy that option may come useful, yes.

only trusted websites where you wanna log in need cookies and sites that need flash to work can be classified as toys :P

its fine and cool if you have a good antivirus... i use kaspersky internet security 2010 but still there is no antivirus that that has a complete database about every website that harms computer so keep that option of malwares on

i use it and it sux :D all it does is giving you nasty pop-ups when people don't like site you visit, getting rediculous like when people rates it bad cuz it has pop-ups and makes even more pop-ups with that. maybe if you buy things or something you'd like it, but if you'r afraid of viruses so it'd be too late anyway to run away when you already entered a site with viruses, they got you via exploits, and plus that you got pop-ups from WOT

I use kaspersky internet security and I've been fine till now.....I think? :P
i used it too with license (ISP gave that free) and all updates annoyingly keeping updating every 15 minutes untill some shitty winlocker virus got through random website to me and kaspersky told me "oh looks like i got corrupted, bb, can't work now, enjoy your time staring at porno-banner viruses"
