Let me begin with this really good one:

I hate waiting each week to know what will happen unless it's a new show so i usually watch two or three episodes from the first season to make a judgment if it's worthy or not , take for example lost until now i'm waiting it to end then i will download the whole season and watch ( don't use this and spoil it to me;)).
so dudes recommend a new show to see if it's worthy to watch in the near future.

believe me. its worth.
if you like tvshows with suspense mixed with action and (slightly) comedy, than you'll love it.
btw, the main actor is the father of 'malcolm in the middle'.
I also dont like to wait, i saw s01 and s02 at once, but now i've to wait, because its still running (s03).

Makes sense. I used to download the full packs, until I realized it was better to watch the first few episodes and see if I liked the show's proposal.
On topic: what about Dexter? I have watched the four seasons and am waiting for the fifth one to begin this year - it's a great show.

Dexter is my second favourite show after The Big Bang Theory
The Dexter character is awesome,her girlfriend and sister are really hot LOL ,
I haven't watched completely the third season :frown:

Seriously, I was amazed how great this show is. I finished with season 1, and gonna download season 2 when it finishes.
Other shows, Supernatural, House, Dexter, etc. There's way too many! :biggrin:

I recently found a Canadian/South African Sci-Fi show which is really good, and I mean REALLY good. Beside all of the obvious cliches, there is a great story to tell Charlie Jade - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Jade) (Spoiler Alert)
It is not recent but I bet no one heard of it :biggrin:
The most fascinating aspect of the show is that one of the story's axis is that there are 3 parallel universes in which a multinational company is present and is trying to fulfill a plan to rule them all.
Download it, you won't regreat.

not very new but Dexter was the last tv show i saw, love it!
Heh....Spartacus : Gods of the Arena is by far the best show i've seen lately

what about Castle? Anyways, I am now watching Prison Break. Saw the first episode the other day (for evaluation purposes) and liked it.
Also from what I hear, "person of interest" and Sherlock are two of the best shows of recent times.

Just watched six episodes back-to-back the other day. I had planned on just watching one, but just couldn't resist the urge to find out more. Will probably watch another six today.. :klatsch_3:

I've just finished watching Breaking Bad and I really really really recommend it to all of you. Amazing story + humor + suspense + happy ending = Great show :D

Specially the last episode....Person of interest is so far good but it's going very slow on main story,How machine was made and it's history...
I would recommend "Game of Thrones" to everyone here. Its an adventure/Fantasy TV Series, also its 2nd Season is releasing next month. Very Highly rated in IMDB (9.4 after 96000+ votes) and rightly so. You would love this especially if you are into Movies like Lord Of the Rings etc . The Series is actually first of the 7 part Novel "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin

except lord of the rings had some action , Game of Thrones has an explicit title..based on the 'games' to gain the throne ..with little action ..very dissapointing when it comes to Eddard Stark revenge

@yoco Nope.They promised a big battle in episode 9 or 10 and thebig battle in the book is the one at King's Landing which is at the end of the book.

I talked to my cousin today, and he said he finds this season so far pretty boring :biggrin:

I would recommend Dexter wholeheartedly, except for its most recent season. That was just.. terrible. Poor writing compounded with actors who were now just going through the motions.
It felt like the show went from new and fresh and exciting, to stereotypically cheap, dull, and unconvincing. Like like the quality of the show dropped off a cliff. I don't know whether I would want to continue watching it next season.
I just came back from watching the last season of Dexter, and what can I say, this season is fantastic. The level writing has gone way back up to the point where I can say this is a great show. The whole season has been good and totally makes up for any slight recollection if any of the last season before that.
