[FONT="Verdana"]This is my second tutorial but this one is completely my own innovation , i didn't see it anywhere else.

Ever wondered how do people sync subtitles to match different editions of the same movie , do you think it's complicated , if you think so read this tutorial and from now on you can sync subtitles yourself and you will not have to wait for them be uploaded.

All what you need is:

1-This small program (http://www.4shared.com/file/yh_CeMPF/SubtitleEdit__25.htm) , download then extract to a new folder .

2- A subtitle to the movie whatever the subtitle is .

How to do it?

Simply, watch the video and follow the instructions:

you can watch it here:

TechSmith | Screencast.com, online video sharing, sync subtitles (http://www.screencast.com/t/YjNlNWFlNDY)

1- open the program.

2- under frame rate choose the movie you want to know what frame rate it is.

3-then choose the type of the subtitle you downloaded (srt,sub....etc) from subtitle format.

4-choose open and open the folder where you have your subtitle and then double click on it.

(put the subtitle along with the movie in a separate folder).

5- click visual sync.

6- now from the first screen that appears choose the very first phrase said in the movie( in most cases it will be set to the first phrase automatically).

7- click play and after your hear the phrase click pause quickly.
(if you didn't catch it click 3 seconds back and pay close attention).

8-repeat (6,7) for the second screen but you will choose the last phrase said in the movie instead of the first.

9-click sync then ok .

10- click save button , now subtitle and movie matches and you are good to go , close the program , rename the subtitle to the name of the movie and enjoy my friend!:top:

This program has a lot of features you can discover yourself such as translating , editing , spliting ....etc.
