i saw that the other day when i registered (yesterday i think) and i tried going to that domain and nothing loads...and hdnew.org stalls i think you have to goto hdnew.org/index.php or /login.php to get it to work.

Edit: i found that after i went to hdnew.org/login.php (i log in) it redirects me to the domain change site and im stuck from there. I went back to hdnew.org/login.php and it takes me to the main hdnew.org site with an error message saying i have already logged in.

confirmed...after waiting for about 10 minutes for login page to load hdnow.org/login.php did show up and work properly...takes me about 5-10min for each page to load on the hdnow.org domain ( im in the u.s. )

That is becos with the ISPs providing higher speed internet access in China over the last one year or so, private tracker scene has picked up alot. It is not only HD trackers but trackers with other focus as well like general/0-day and game content.

The other interesting facts to note is that eventhough 10-50mbps package are becoming available, the uploaders/mod/admin at these Chinese HD sites generally uses their companies' 100mbps or 1Gbps broadband for uploading. Unless you are working in an MNC with pretty comprehensive security/governance policies in place which probihit such acts, generally with these Chinese companies, it is "ok" to use the network after work if you know what I mean.

At the same time, a large majority of these trackers' users are students and in the uni, they have GBits fiber optics cables running all over the campus. Some uni even allow the students to setup private trackers using the school's network, with .edu domain name. Even their professors and tutors have accounts and take part in the file sharing.
