i'm not gonna vote there and neither will i watch it - this competition was once rather respected (if this can even be asserted for the pop oriented genre :tongue:), yet during the years it became something like a spawning pool for generic uninteresting songs, most of them being not representative of their countries of origin, not even near to being top songs from the participating countries - furthermore, the voting is pretty much biased where voters from countries with related languages or history have an obvious bias towards each other, thus creating an arena of allied/team competition, not really interested in choosing quality, but more trying to help each other by giving away (high) points based on the aforementioned bias

btw, last time i watched this (and the only time i actually voted) was when there was a metal/hard rock oriented band from finland called lordi performing in 2006...funny enough, they managed to win :tongue:
