NO..NO..NO..It has all same general day contents that Torrentbytes,Tl,Revtt,Ipt have...Nothing good...Forum is full of spammer..Staff that behave like a What.cd staff like they have created a history by creating this tracker..
As usual RM work nice on packs with speed like 1 Mbps..Just stay focus b'coz every torrent does not have so many peer activity..Try to avoid cheating on general stuff like Tv show,Newly added Movie..

Hah. Looks like there's a lot of hype surrounding this tracker, making itself be named "the X" as well as ScL's successor, and using the ScTBDev codebase ahead of its public release. It's somewhat early to judge them, though :wink:

Spam includes 0DAY (small apps), XXX-0DAY (imagesets, siterips), MP3s (music releases), MVIDs (music videos), EBOOKs, WII DLCs, TV-DVDRips, unknowns, and others (which may include language-specific rls). Rule of thumb is: anything under 100MB usually fits into spam (although TV-DVDRips are a known exception). Non-spam includes main releases such as TV, XviDs, DVDRs, regular XXX, HD/x264, GAMES, APPS/PC ISOs, etc. Some trackers carry spam; some dont - for this (as applied in reference to other trackers pretimes and win percentage), trackers can achieve grossly inflated tracer stats based on being the only tracker in the race.

Depends on whether they plan to become "l33t" in the future or not. ScL tried to do so in the beginning, but it backfired on them.

brakeman and above user class is excluded from getting automatically banned, but if you look at the req's for this userclass you will agree thats nearly impossible to reach this userclass with casual seeding.

nah it was about being able to download because both Romania and Israel are banned from 2 things: signing up AND downloading (but browsing is okay).
I have to admmit I like their packs

even if their speeds are what they are they are just a collective of member speeds, once a member decides to seed elsewhere since their minimum reqs have been met, another tracker will get those speeds
well, as said already on site with a high number of seedbox members speed should never be an issü for home-use

I see lots of dislikes for this tracker, I agree to some extent though :tongue:
I think that they're doing alright for a new tracker. What is wrong with them:
1- They gave themselves too much praise even before opening the tracker, "they complimented themselves". They gave too much "promises" that are impossible to achieve with a new tracker, therefore, people n00bs will be disappointed and the tracker will eventually lose the "famosity" they created before hand
2- Their rules will never help them to be better.
3- They have approximately 14000 places left, why close sign ups from now. (How are they planning to increase the content!)
These things are going to put the tracker down at some point in the future.

Their activity req are stupid, Ive seen many people give away accounts, which is crazy that people cant even be bothered to cheat at ur tracker. The way SeX are going they will have a smaller and smaller userbase.
They have over 5000 torrents but only a small number of them are highly seeded, and very few leechers. but they do have a seeding work around.

I've register before their downtime but just left it to die because it's just another scene tracker, low speed, less leecher, seeder, not so speial packs.
they removed torrent comments criteria but retained the forum posts criteria . no wonder their forum is a load of bollocks with nonsense spamfest around . they made a fool of themselves after trying to lure people with the "super community and uber rare" crap and then opening signups after a month . unless they open the site till around 20000 users , the site will die a slow death just like ScL . even after having ScL experience , these fools still went ahead to start a new site with the same fail ideology .

nowadays , an excuse that my "dog" gave me the invite is rather believable by staff torrent trackers rather than my "friend" gave me . if you say about your "friend" they will probably ban the account the next millisecond .
anyway, the mail can't be changed in the rofile settings and the faq has no entry about it. i think it can be considered to be the same as ScL in that regard

2*100MB / month is an ass, no one wants to work for p2p fu! most of their stuff is small, episodes are scattered everywhere and a pain in the scrotum to download a complete season for some stuff.

Well, to be fair, TL (and many other trackers) have the advantage of having been created back when there wasn't too much choice, and seedboxes were a rare commodity.
I care enuf about the tracker to voice my opinion and to give contructive criticsm otherwise I wouldnt comment and not give a fk haha ;)
Same goes for all other trackers where I comment, but not neccessarily the ones Ive yet to comment lol - all tracker are good dudes! they give a service for which to be thankful for.
Quality stuff doesnt just mean variety of stuff but also high quality encodes more importantly
2*100MB/month is stupid but for a 'cheater' it less difficult, but thats not the point. This rule makes most torrents created for easy compliance. SeX needs high quality and complete seasons of the TVs they track. Content is the 2nd consideration

New Hit and Run system:
This system is designed to be as fair as possible while at the same time enforcing our seeding policy. A full and complete breakdown of how the system works can be found Here. We strongly recommend ALL members take the time to read through it and fully understand how it works!
Promotion System Changes:
We have reviewed our rank promotion system and decided that it needed some changes. We have decided to remove the max ratio caps. In addition to this we have decided add a time in rank feature. This is because we felt it was a bit to easy to progress to the next rank and with the forum post requirement it brought to much spam to the forums. We hope this will encourage better forum posting and a better overall experience here at Sex. We strongly recommend ALL members take the time to read the updated FAQ to get the full breakdown on this!
Seeding Requirement Changes:
We have reviewed our seeding policy also and have decided to make some changes here as well. Our new requirements will make seeding much easier for our members. We hope these requirement changes helps encourage more site activity. These new changes only reflect the minimum requirements but, we encourage everyone to seed as long as they can to help keep torrents alive as long as possible.
Here's how the new seeding system works:
ALL NEW single torrents (0-14 days old) need to be seeded either 1:1 or seeded for 72 hours (3 days)
ALL NEW packs (0-14 days old) need to be seeded either 1:1 or seeded for 120 hours (5 days)
ALL OLDER single torrents (14 days old or older) need to be seeded 1:1 or seeded 36 hours (1 1/2 days)
ALL OLDER packs (14 days old or older) need to be seeded either 1:1 or seeded 72 hours (3 days)
further romania is unbanned and signups are open for 5 days

Our new hit and run system is designed to be as fair as possible while at the same time enforcing our seeding policy. We have thought about the best way possible to do this, so for this system we are introducing a new feature: Disabled Download Rights. What this means is that if at some point your Hit and Runs go over the HnR (Hit and Run) limit you may not be able to download new torrents from the site, although you will still have full access to everything else on the site. Also, this is a automatic system, meaning that once you hit the HnR limits the system will notify you, and naturally once you clear your hit and runs – your privileges will go back to normal.
Everyone gets a fresh start with this system. This means is that ALL current members with previous Hit and Runs gets a free pass as we have REMOVED ALL HnRs to implement this new system. You also need to know that no matter what, at any time you can remove a HnR from your account by either re-seeding the torrent(s) you HnR on or by purchasing (if you have enough seed bonus points) a remove 1 HnR option from the Bonus Shop.
How the system works:
For each Hit and Run you acquire, you will receive a site pm notification letting you know that the system recorded a HnR on your account. Hit and Run torrents will show up on your torrent snatch list as a red(ish) colored highlight, so you can spot them easily. You will have 72hrs (3days) to re-seed your torrent(s) before it becomes a Hit and Run. So if you go offline for a day or two, you will not be punished for that. Only after 3 continuous days of not seeding, you will get a Hit and Run. This will continü until you complete the minimum site seeding requirements for those torrents. Too many Hit and Runs will get your download privileges disabled.
The Hit and Run limits are as follows:
If you have successfully completed the seeding requirements on less than 100 torrents, you have a Hit and Run limit of 3. This means that you are allowed up to 3 HnRs before the system disables your downloading privileges; although the DL privileged removal is only temporary while you correct your HnRs. We hope that you do your best not to fall into this category.
If you have successfully completed the seeding requirements on 100 or more torrents, the system changes from a 3 strikes system to a percentage based system having the HnR limit on 5%. This means that your Hit and Run limit is now 5% of your completed torrents.
Here are a few examples:
If a user has 101 successfully completed torrents; that users Hit and run Limit changes to 5 HnRs. That means the user can do 5 hit and runs before the users download privileges are disabled.
Another example: If a user has 263 successfully completed torrents; that users Hit and run Limit changes to 13 HnRs. That means the user can do 13 hit and runs before the users download privileges are disabled.
One last example: If a user has 791 successfully completed torrents; that users Hit and run Limit changes to 39 HnRs. That means the user can do 39 hit and runs before the users download privileges are disabled.
As you see the more activity you give to the site, the more forgiving the system becomes. So the system also ’kind of’ rewards active users (users with many snatches in this case).
Again we want to stress that we don't really encourage you to have ANY Hit and Runs. Also as was stated before you can remove any number of HnRs from you account by simply re-seeding the torrent(s) at any time or by purchasing the option from the bonus shop.

ScL tried to be l33t. When they started, they'd ban people posting the full name on forums and that kind of stuff those of us not-so-veterans in torrenting probably associate with CN.
Then they realized that wasn't working and tried opening registrations, giving invites, invite "windows", and so on, but that never worked. You know what happened next.

Probably not, unless they're packs. But in that case, packs are just a bunch of Scene releases which have an element in common... ot's stupid for a tracker to label them as "exclusive", much more forbid members from reuploading the content elsewhere.

I remember watching the YT video for SeX right before it came out. The hype was all big and totally over-rated, IMHO.
The video had a lot of drum-rolling giving the impression that it's leading up to something so hugely big and terrifying that nobody could guess how big...er...small SeX was going to be with respect to a number of disappointments that it obviously has developed.
That's my 2 cents of input.

Signalman - Must be a member for 2 weeks, have uploaded at least 100GB, downloaded at least 50GB, have a ratio above 0.9, and have made 50 forum posts. Definitely not. It's pretty hard to build a successful 0-Day tracker nowadays. Too much costs and competition from well-known, established and larger sites. SeX has the "gimmick" of being ScL's successor, but then again ScL never was an active site, and we all know what happened to it.
Anyway, live and let live. If despite all the hate and adverse conditions they're still standing, then by all means keep up the good work. :gtongue:

well, a scene tracker is a scene tracker. you know what to expect there. if you're looking for something special a scene tracker is just not the right thing for you.

Back in 2007, some "moron" thought it would be a good idea to open his own version of Filelist. The result ended up one of the finest trackers around, which outpaced and outlived its namesake.
