12-months-Premium-VPN for free

A user need help for this, so I created a easy TuT for everybody on SB-I.
Still working, checked it few minutes ago.

I know, that especially SB-I-Users are highly interested in such VPN-Services, so everybody is welcome to try this.

You dont have to give any private data, just an email-adress.
They guarantee that they do not log any IPs.
You got 10GB each month (real scenario 1/2 because of the 2-way-encryption), but this should be okay for general usage or for checking some tracker related stuff (Good Example: Invites via IRC).


So, let's start.

Install the Cyberghost-Client from here (http://www.cyberghostvpn.com/page/download.php).
(Press the Download-Button)

After the Installation you may restart, but you could also do it later.

This is the Interface of the VPN-Service, which could be started by pressing Cyberghost VPN (Executeable File).
Start it and press 'New Account'

Your Browser will start and you see this.
Type your mail twice.

You will get an Email with a Link to confirm and a seperate code (also included in the mail)
Type the Code in the lower part and your mail in the upper part.

After that you come to the third site.

Here you have to enter your data, as shown in the screenshot
Your pass should be very complex (as you know from HQ-Tracker-Signups), including Symbols lower/UpperCaps-Letters and Numbers.
Tick just lower box (upper box is for ads).
Choose your language.

Click the second Link, called 'bereits erworbene Seriennummer für Ihren Premium Zugang aktivieren'.

Now you got a 12 months-Premium-VPN-membership.

Restart your PC once again to ensure that all services will load in a proper way.

After that you should start your Cyberghost VPN.exe once again, and enter your Username and Password.

Your Cyberghost-Window wil show the status of your VPN-Service.
You can choose VPN-servers manually or automatically.


Now you have a 12 months Premium VPN. :klatsch_3:

Please dont post this on other sites (without asking), this is only for SB-I.

Later edit: you can easily re-register multiple accounts to "extend" the 10GB trial period to infinity, just use a different e-mail address every time.

you dont need a vpn for entering their irc, at least if you're from a non-banned country.

You'll need it (for some reason) if you're going to have the VPN on when using What.cd afterwards, otherwise you could raise an eyebrow.

10 GB is not much traffic! I spent it in a few hours (torrent-download). So i retried to make another Account.

It works! Just use a different Email/Account

and enter the new Account-Details in Cyberghost. You have a second 12 month Account!

I've tried invite forums and they tend to get along with trackers and prohibit invites giveaways to what.cd , nothing worked for me but trading.

Check the PU forums of trackers you're a member of - there could be someone giving away some What invites (which technically doesn't break their rules), sometimes there are even unlimited offers.

I didn't understand your question but I guess you're talking about this whole VPN connection. You will appear to be using the VPN connection IP address not your IP of course. It's a German IP address

Wait a moment, you're using VPN to access sb-i for some "obscure" reason and you don't know if sb-i is seeing you real IP or the VPN IP address. What is the point of using a VPN connection then?

Tell you what, here's a handful websites to know what address is "SB-I and trackers"will see. Here (http://www.google.co.uk/search?aq=0&oq=my+ip+ad&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=my+ip+address)

you don't know if sb-i is seeing you real IP or the VPN IP address.

Just so that it's clear (not aimed at you a007, but in general):

We do NOT log IP addresses. We disabled that and got rid of every vBulletin thingy that's related to IPs or may also log them separately.

would güss so but be careful with vpn providers using their custom software because there's no reason to bind the user to a special software just for plain vpn use.
so you might ask yourself why would they invest the $$$ to develop a custom software ... :rolleyes:

They're not promoting their 2010 version with free codes.

However,

you may download the 2011 version and use it as a basic version.

Nothing to set up for the basic version, it should simply work.

Sadly they're still a lots of limitations, even more than the 2010-version
(compared to the premium version):
- 1GB per month
- 1000 kb/s max. DL-Speed
