Getestet auf BitMe

-Fakeup
Es wird eine 2 bzw 5 oder 8 vor eurem Upload gehängt.
Begrenzt deshalb am besten euren Upload auf 9kB/s.

-Multi
Euer Upload wird mal 11 bzw. 111 genommen.
Ich würde euch empfehlen euer Uploadlimit auf 6 bzw 1 zu stellen.

-DHT-Patch
Ignoriert die "Private Flag" und lässt euch DHT und PEX für private Torrents aktivieren.
(Verwendet diese Option nur wenn ihr wisst was ihr tut)

Unfortunately it doesn't work on all trackers.
Tested on BitMe

-Fakeup:
There is a 2, 5 or 8 in front of your upload speed,
which you should limit to 9kB/s.

-Multi:
Your upload speed is multiplied by 11 or 111.
I recommend you limit it to 6kB/s.

-DHT-Patch
Ignores the private flag, letting you enable DHT and PEX for private torrents.
(Only use it if you know what you're doing)

Until today this was it. Making these packs needs some time, and I'm not going to spend it redoing the whole modding and uploading procedure just because BT Inc. felt like releasing another build with just one change.

nah i just want to use 2.0 on private trackers but sites like bmtv and bitme dont allow it and a lot are black listing it which is why i wanted to know if it would be possible to mod it using a 1.x.x version

I'll see what I can do. If the peer_id algorithm hasn't changed from 1.x.x to 2.0, it's possible.

I'm just curious...with RM 1.9 and client file uTorrent (build 18488 by HellD0t), I am getting the following information when using memory reader with the Original mod from this pack:


Peer_ID = Last digits of: 98%ba%f6~
Key=E030715F

Does this look ok, or are there any problems with the code? I've never seen a ~ sign at the end of a peer_id, so just wanted to check before I use this and get banned from trackers.

The Original mod should be OK since it doesn't touch the announce, but if it can be avoided...

queequeq, the peer_id is fine. ~ is one of the characters uTorrent doesn't escape when announcing, so nothing to worry about.

But when i start the torrent at 0%(leecher) it will run to the end (100%)and then i will the see on the tracker as seeder...

This is the keyword. You'll still finish the torrent, but it shouldn't appear in the snatch list.

No, it doesn't, but you should be using uTorrent mods on the ones that can detect it anyway.

Not really, you're still reporting download. The only thing the NoComplete mod does is not sending the "completed" flag, which indicates you've, well, completed the download to the tracker. That's all.

ok, i decided to try this version, but its banned at certain trackers. however, i didnt notice this at first and although it said Failure: Client not allowed in ut it still downloaded. I was using the no complete no report tracker version. Would it be safer to switch to one of the older versions or have i missed a 2.0 that spoofs 1.8.5?
Or on the other hand, would they actually be able to see that i am downloading and would it make any difference?

You can't miss what doesn't exist. :unsure:

And no, they can't see you're downloading, at least not directly. Your client was probably downloading because it held some IPs from when you used the official uTorrent.

thanks for the reply. I prefer the functionality of ut2 over the older versions, and as long as it keeps working then i'll continue with this version. I cant see how the ip's would still be in ut from before as i deleted my previous version with remove programs, then rebooted before installing this version. i cleared all previous torrent history as i wanted to test it slowly on different trackers. If it does hold ip's from before then will it eventually cease to work?

By the way, the 6kB/s limit has been removed a long time ago :lol:
