Mipony is a download manager especially designed to download automatically from free hosting websites like Rapidshare, Megaupload, Hotfiles, Gigasize, Filefactory and many others.

With this download manager you will enjoy much comfort when you download the files avoiding the hosting pages drawbacks. Mipony takes care of everything. It goes automatically to the website hosting the file, waits the necessary time if it is required and initiates the download of lots of files, one after other automatically.

Add the file links to the download queue in Mipony, and the program takes care of downloading all files in the shortest time possible.

Mipony also checks for every link if the file has been deleted from the server or if it is available to download, so before downloading a set of files you can be sure that all the files will download without problems.

Mipony works with free and premium accounts of Rapidshare, Megaupload and Hotfile, and free accounts of many other hosters.

anyone tried this so far?

i'm using Jdownloader for automated OCH download (& RS Downloader) - works pretty good, can download from multiple hosters at the same time, has constant updates, can recognize captcha,...

I tried jDownloader and it was pretty neat, but I couldn't get it to work on Mediafire, so I went for RDesc instead, which recently added Premium account support (I still prefer MSD for that, though)

About this tool, I added links from RS, MU, MF and HF to test it, and just finished downloading all of them correctly. You have to accept every hoster's ToS before you can leech, just like with jD.

I don't get the reason to have a built-in browser - I already have Opera to search for links, so it just increases memory usage by loading IE's rendering engine :eek13:

Well, I do:

It has an integrated browser which detects links from the supported websites. It makes extremely easy to add links for downloading.
Let's say you have a page with a dozen or more links - automated detection of all links or even klick, klick, klick if you don't want all files should be much faster than copying every link.

I'll give it a try.

Expect report on monday.

Many other downloaders implement that without using a built-in browser.

i think this could be my favorite.
i tried rs,mu,hotfile for now, they all work (also parallel download).
it doesnt need java like jdownloader!
it can open .dlc,.rsdf and is not as slow and bulky as cryptload (which has also probs detecting mu captchas correctly).
its small and straight forward (you can unpack it with uniextract and dont have to install it/portable).

for now, nl doesnt seem to work though (download error), but this one is definitivly promising because of the many hosts integrated..

At least one ^^ RDesc

remember trying rdesc, found it a little limited because it doesnt read containers?
and mipony looks a little nicer

pero todos de espana :klatsch_3: .

edit: hm,not possible to directly post pix here..?

Yes, that's right. But you can decrypt RSDF containers online, and DLC ones with "DLC Decrypter".

Leeching bandwidth from others isn't  Upload the pic to Imageshack.

Ah, yes . . . haven't tried this one by now. (I hate .NET)

but . . .

so it just increases memory usage by loading IE's rendering engine :eek13:
It's running now . . . memory usage between 5 and 11,5 MB. That's less than every other downloader I've tried so far.
CPU usage ist 2-8% - on a Via C3 @ 800 MHz (!!)

I've stuffed it with 112 Links - 17,2 GB total. 10% done by now.
If if grabs the whole shit without crashing . . . well, than I've found my downloader :klatsch_3:

Mipony is coded in .NET

Thanks for your test, by the way

Mipony is coded in .NET
Yeah.
But since most other Downloaders are coded in .NET (Rdesc, HotfileDownloader), I've had no choice . . .

Okay, MiPony . . .
Absolute stable, doesn't interfere with other Software, has made 17 Gigs in the last 72 hours (I only have DSL 2000), CPU-time in those 72 hours is 1h 7 min (on a VIA C3@800 MHz!!), Memory-Usage no more than 18 MB.

Tested with links from RapidShare, Hotfile and Depositfiles.

Highly recommended !

Yeah.

Yes, sometimes it seems like no one has made a multi-hoster downloader that's not coded in .NET or Java... (USDownloader is coded in Delphi, but I don't know how well it works nowadays)

Yes, there is.
Candisoft's Load! doesn't need anything - sadly that thing has other problems like 100% CPU-Load when on top of the screen, no Hotfile-Support and so on.

usdownloader was nice, but its not updated anymore like it seems? netload was still not working a month ago. also no dlc support (maybe over youcrypt, but thats also not elegant) AND the biggest fault is the not downloading parallel from different hosters.

load! i tried half a year ago, had some problems with crashes and download probs.

the only issue i did find with mypony is, that it doesnt automatically reconnect when the wlan or internetconnection breaks. its then downloading forever on one file and you have to stop it manually..

Let it run a couple of days.
I had that problem only on the first two days, now it's running without pause. Perhapst it's learnig?

this is pretty good. intuitive and easy to use.

but i notice the memory usage starts to creep up overtime. (but very slowly). anyone else experience this?

thanks.

btw, i am downloading from hotfile some rars, now and then a popup with a captcha shows up,.. and it stays until i close is!?
so i queued lots of files over night and mipony stopped at the 3rd one with the captcha, until the next day i clicked it away, not really witty.
is there a way/setting to autoclose these?

i feel mipony is way much better they just really need to add more fileshare site and some more tweaks i think it much better than jdownloader

Just checked out this program, and I'll say it's good.
It's so much lighter than jDownloader, which happens to be my favorite downloader for filesharing sites.

Just to compare, I've also tried:
* Tucan Manager: Tucan Manager - Homepage (http://www.tucaneando.com/) ~ light and fast, but the way it asks you to input captchas is a turn off for me.
* pyLoad: pyLoad Download Manager - pyLoad (http://pyload.org/) ~ light and fast, but installation procedure is not too newbie-friendly. Awesome Web UI, though.
(but I kept coming back to jDownloader for ease of use)

Now, I'll try this Mipony for a while, and see if it can totally kiss jDownlaoder goodbye. ^_^

Can MiPony add containers, decrypt links and download pretty much every link you put on it? Because I deal with that kind of stuff regularly.

They have a "download selected to folder"; maybe this could work for you.

1. so it can open DLC and RSDF files?
2. I'm talking about services like Lix.in, which are often used to protect links on warez forums. On jDownloader, you can add such links, and the program will automatically convert them to "real" ones.
3. pales in comparison to jD's supported hoster list, but then again I only use 3-4 of those, at most.

Looks like we had a different understanding. But yes, it opens those files.

I tried a link using lix.in, and Mipony was able to parse it. (^_^)=b
