The plot sounds interesting and it sounds like its borrowing the almost the same plot as U.S. Marshals with Wesley Snipes

She's just a extremely talented actress.She is modeling her characteristics to fit the role.That was not a movie with a lot of improvising coming from actors like Pirates of the Caribbean for example

The ending was what I expected so no real surprise there!

if one would have to choose an optimistic answer it might be called a decent thriller, but 'salt' had way too many unbelievable situations and solutions that can't be neglected, especially since they aimed at providing a believable serious scenario, an attempt which failed on many occasions, actually that kind of script would be more fitting for a tomb raider type of movie (if the adventure element isn't taken into consideration) having a fantasy-based super-human heroine 'in charge'
