Hi guys, I have a P5B Motherboard. Since I've upgraded bios to 1803, Ai suite keep crashing under windows xp when I launch it.:icon_angry[1]::confused2:

Anyone of you with the same motherboard is experiencing this problem?

Thanx

nope, but i suggest you input back the original bios.had similar problem with you but different motherboard so the solution was to put back the original bios..hope this helps you out

That may be a solution, but i don't think that asus update will allow me to downgrade the bios. Is there a way to avoid this problem? Should I use the asus
dos flashing utilities?

all you need to do is put the original or working bios on a floppy disk..and restore it using dos..thats why floppy disk is so important at time.the asus dos flashing utilities should work

you can also put the bios in a flash pen! it works better that the floppy disk more safe! use the utility that is in the bios! donīt upgrade de bios usind windows, its risky and be sure that the power wonīt fail

asus flash bios does not let you "downgrade" the current bios, only through boot to cmd line or to CMOS comp and then flash to 1705...either way gooluck :top:

Problem solved! I downloaded the last version of a more recent asus motherboard and now ai suite works (V. 1.03.25):top:

Ok, it's resolved...

But the other solution is a downgrade with a old asus update version

Take Here : ASUS Update 6.1.0.02 (http://rapidshare.com/files/73983852/AsusUpdt61002.zip)

Options > Downgrade > Flash with a file > your bios > Enjoy !
