Even torrentvault or Bitsoup is better than GFT..We have speed Much faster from these tracker then GFT...

About why staff doesn't like reviews.
If you're not a member somewhere you don't need to know what's inside, what would be the use of it. Once you're in and don't like you can still ask to get disabled or just let the account die because of inactivity. As you're supposed not to trade you don't "lose" anything if you don't like it as you didn't give anything for it.
So you could say reviews encourage trading and begging in requests.
At least that's one reason.

Yes, other peers will indeed see your real IP, and GFT's swarms tend to be small. You could use a VPN or "torrent proxy" service, though.

Not quite.Only some tracker reviews are based on which cheats work on them.For that we have "Cheating on Loltracker.net" threads.Usually these are started by people who have problems with ratio on a tracker.Indeed no tophos cheating thread.Maybe we should make one?

You're right, at least for me. I haven't downloaded a single byte of the torrents tracked by your site, not even with my first account, which you banned back then. However, I've taken advantage of the recent "hidden signup" to make an extra one, which I only use for checking your shitlist and see what's up. I drop by /responce/ when I'm bored, too. Based on this you can already identify it if you haven't already. :tongue: I hope your proposal to make the shitlist public is still standing.

The main idea for "SBFreak" (it's with a lowercase F) banning you from TopHos for being a n00b was fine, but not as good. You should work a bit more on it.

Yes, you even repped me for it :smile: The mod on that thread was mostly a plus to the step-by-step procedure. If you read its last pages, you'll even read me post the DHT-Patch from my uTorrent leecher pack can do exactly the same, and thus I haven't bothered to update the ghostleeching one anymore. Did you read the addition to that tutorial, by the way? I found a new way that I think is harder to detect.

I have read some of your notes about the ghostleech mod in the past I'm probably a bit out of date. I don't think the new updated methods you wrote would work anyways on my site the way I have the code checking. If you announce at least 1 time... (Which you have to do to get the peers.) then it should auto detect you. You probably have a pretty general idea how im checking but I dunno if I should give you an exact idea. ;) I doubt its the same as what SCT is using but SCT is definitely using the same code someone else wrote... SCT buys alot of their detection/scripts from other sites I have yet to see them code something original. Mine was coded myself so I doubt its the same anyone else is using but it could... least the code wont look the same. Mine uses the cleanup script at a 12 hr interval to shoot out results if that helps you any ;)
You probably have a pretty general idea how im checking but I dunno if I should give you an exact idea. ;)
From a security point of view, you shouldn't.
The new method consists on stopping the torrent before removing the URL, so it's two announces - one to get the peerlist, and another one to stop. After that you can resume downloading with no tracker reporting. I have always thought you'd look like a legit user that got the wrong torrent and stopped it after realizing this.

And yes, it's not flawless. I can think of a method to detect it, too. But the bigger and more active the swarm is, the harder it becomes.

If people aren't catching this I am honestly rather shocked.
I seem to suck with catching some stuff others catch.. but I catch the ghostleeches rather easily.
(We have caught 19 in the last few hrs alone.)
The script we use I wrote in a matter of 5 - 10 minutes honestly. And other than having to check the logs manually there aren't really many flaws its error proof if you know how to read the log. I just rather log stuff and check it just to be safe. But I think you figured this out already.

short answer: Yes since looong time.
long answer: yeah, the account was to confirm that they are admins(barry,serb),
after a short period of time it got disabled.
Maybe because I only browsed the site and registered using the vpn,proxy and dialup :D
i think they wanted my IP but never got it .. so they/he disabled my account
or maybe because its not good for reputation to invite a known cheater.
anyway i admit i tried to keep it, though i can't use it , so getting the account disabled was the best choice. (it served its mission) (meaning barry took the best choice by disabling it)
