CE has just migrated to the TBDEV script – the move is far from complete and there will be lots of features added in the coming days.This is good tracker who love music and Videos.

But i only have to point out one thing ...the URL of the tracker can be reveled since overhere whe try to not "do normal reviews" and whe don't give a f**k about what staff admins consider about they links,url's,security,undercover,"things" about a torrent :top:

Well, I'm a member there currently and it's certainly a decent place to get your music. It's no Waffles or What, but it's ratio free, so there's no complaints here. Luckily I got invited by staff and got to skip the silly interview process. All their server crashes and overload problems are starting to annoy me though.
How many torrents do they have now?

Retention is important on music trackers. Add the fact this one's ratio-free, and thus allows users to stop/delete the torrent as soon as the requirements are met...

I did make an account at ST after seeing the FILEnetworks article about SuperTorrents v2, but I guess it's also been pruned, as logging in doesn't work anymore.

But imo it needs more uploading generally and more lossless in particular.
And maybe a bit more users. And more electronic misic !

this I agree with. I am also seeing the site grow. It may have had a whopping 9 torrents or what-ever, but it boasts in the thousands now along with a pretty strong user base. Users are uploading alot more now.
I have to say one thing here and that is that the leecher base is by far, under par with the seeders there.
For almost every torrent, at least with Lounge, Rock, sometimes with Alternative and even Classical genres, there is only 1 seeder...seriously....and it stays like that, too...unfortunately.
Other than that, there is also the staff and regular forum users that I find, when perusing the forums, are very, very friendly.
For me, this is important as I don't like posts in private torrent forums where the staff and even other users are like a bunch of a$$H***s.
It makes me wonder if there is a whole lifestyle behind a$$h**ity.
But I can't say that for CE.
That place I like because when I read the forums, they are pretty open to suggestive improvements and the like.
And yes, it is growing...slowly. I wouldn't be surprised that as time goes by, more and more people will desire to be inside that music site.

I highly suggest that if you want to join this tracker, be honest in your profile links and such.
I'm not going to state how long I've been a member there since I'd like to keep that information away from prying eyes for anyone that is from CE reading this, but suffice it to say, that having been there for awhile now, what I see is that this site is a decent music tracker.
There really is no need to lie to get in, either.
The questions are very simple and basic.
1, What do you feel you can provide as a contribution for CE??
( If you have a decent collection of music, this would be a good answer to give)
2. Can you give us 2 profile links to other sites??
( this is easy. Highly suggest you be honest in this provision, since all they are after is seeing your ratio to determine how much you'd be able to seed back. Which of course is necessary for any tracker)
3. How long have you been torrenting??
( this should be easy. Be honest again)
4. I was not asked for any speed test as I think that the interviewer also must have felt that these kind of tests are useless for this type of site. '

there are tons of seedbox users in almost every site around nowadays , be it the crappy rare trackers or the normal trackers . never have i got lesser speeds in some particular site and more in some other site .

indeed that's y i said above that high level RF trackers gives gud speed
but coexist does'nt give that good speed but the others like ftn etc give awesome speed ..
for Ftn, i can't tell about the speed but for others :shifty: they gave below decent speed especially for older torrents (but i think retention is another rare case) :frown:

i'd say except from a few specialized sites TL and FL.ro are the only ones with nice speeds on older stuff
Having more peers tends to give better retention (TL, FL.ro, IPT), and so does being hard to seed on (What.cd, Waffles). Being ratio-free (FTN, GFT, Libble), in turn, tends to kill it - people will get off torrents as soon as they meet the seeding requirements if they didn't like or no longer want the torrents' content.
i'd say except from a few specialized sites TL and FL.ro are the only ones with nice speeds on older stuff

But when they vanish, you're screwed. Even if they're seedboxes, they can only hold content in their drives for so long before it's deleted to make room for new material. It's people with home connections like you and me that ensure some degree of long-term retention, and that's why it sometimes tends to lack on those small/super-secret trackers.

It is great to see a staffer from another site here. I should state herein in this Tracker Review that ragincajun77 is one of the staffers there at CE, and I would like to welcome you to our board. :smile:
I know that from reading some of ragincajun77's post that he is actually a very helpful member there on CE.This goes for the rest of the community that is at CE. Recently, CE broke, I believe the 7000 torrents list.
EDIT: correction: Over 10000.
I realize that it isn't a whole lot but it's a small beginning to what I would hope is a continuing growth.

Difficult? What.cd's interview is several times longer than CE's, and Waffles doesn't even have an invite channel.
Not only that, your not asked crazy questions like what is mp3 and what do you do with the files that you download and why are you on welfare......etc....etc.....

Invitation is easy via their iRC.
You just ask for it. ....a couple of questions to answer here and there and the interview is done with.
No craziness involved.

The URL is in the first post. Maybe someone needs to have his blindfold removed...
My opinion of this tracker, is that it's too few torrents. Especially when the tracker specializes it on music, because there's millions of songs out there and ppl have really different taste. I have searched some times for songs and ended up with downloading it from another tracker.
It's down a.t.m. Has someone got some news about CE??
Just got word it closed. Didn't enter their IRC, maybe someone else can confirm it.
