View Full Version : Crack for ARMA 2 delayed by FADE DRM protection
ARMA 2, the highly anticipated tactical shooter from Bohemeia interactive, has finally been released to the public. Given the game's generally positive ratings and popularity of previous games by its developer (Operation Flashpoint, ArmA : Armed Assault, to name a few), it looks like ARMA 2 will go on to become a huge hit in 2009. However if you are one of those folks looking to pirate the game, you might have to wait a little longer. ARMA 2 is protected by DRM and it's full of triggers that makes gameplay a living hell for pirates.

the game itself sucks and does not deserve to be cracked... :wink2:

you may be right, but that won't stop the scene, imo they will see it as a challenge to crack the 'protection'

LOL
define the word 'to pirate' first, if its the:
- people that crack games - trouble to find and avoid/deactivate the triggers
- people that share cracked games - no trouble at all
also, it would be better to spend time on bug removal as opposed to hide & seek trigger implants
edit:
btw its still too early to praise the protection as it has been only a 1-2 days since the clonedvd version got out

GTA IV used a similar system too, and look at it now.
Nothing is uncrackable... :top:
