The number of ULers has increased too; this tracker will definitely amount to something. I'm sure many consider it to be the SoftMP3 replacement.

The site looks really promising. Too bad for the country bans, but they can easily be bypassed with a Web proxy.

Scripts should be the same as SoftMP3's were, since SS is based on their released source code.

It is a great tracker BUT I do not think it can ever be like what.cd and waffles. They are miles ahead. Though with the rate Scnesound is growing, it will be a good site

You can never compare it to What or Waffles as SceneSound only allows scene releases.

SceneSound is a great new tracker. I personally dont know the old SoftMP3, but SceneSound has evolved very fast in the last time. Of course their content can't keep up with What & Waffles, because only Scene Releases are allowed. BTW: The site is extreme fast in filling user requests.

I'm currently testing some stuff. But the same things that worked at SoftMP3 should do there. Check out the released source code. :wink2:

Just used variable settings depending upon the torrent,Average fake upload speed was 12 - 40 Kb/s

Musictrackers like this have very low activity with 1 maybe 2 leechers on each torrent and of course more on newly added ones but they will turn into seeders very quick! I understand that we have to use very low speeds but isn't it quite risky to cheat on torrents with 1-2 leechers only, which i experience most of the time?

Yest it's risky and for that you should use low speeds.

I have successfully faked on torrents with few leechers at SceneSound. Just keep rates below 4MB/s and don't use the same upload and download speeds. :top:

RM with less than 4MB/s. Number of leechers doesn't matter, just stop before the update :naughty:

MAN! That's too weird! I used RM with WM
BUT! How could the announce time just change? It said 15 minutes and after a couple of minutes it said like 20...
I checked the torrent's peerlist and I was there with about 1Mbps upload...

Edit! Damn! I realized the torrent had finished and sent an announce!
Now I gotta seed at around 20 to 30 KBps till the next announce... :)

You can do that or fake at 4MB/s, stopping before the update until you feel you've done enough.

I've been there for 11 weeks uploaded 60GB's and the ratio just says ∞ (because it's all been freeleach!

I'm still not being promoted... I try to make a ratio appear but everything on this damn site is freeleach!

Maybe they are blocking IP Ranges

Just a nordic tracker they wanna be ( my hypothesis) ,it could be a possibility due to the fact they used to ban many countries :tongue:
