Content: 6/10 - It is a general tracker, but there is not a lot of torrent in each category. You can find about 1500 torrents and a lot waiting to be reseeded. ALso they have a lot spanish audio DVDR.
Speed: 6/10 - This is a south america tracker so speed is not the best. But if you live in south america you can reach pretty good speed in some torrents
Community: 7/10 It is a small forum but the people are very nice and always available to help you

The best Argentinian tracker and one of the best latin american tracker. With regard to the speed of the tracker I have listened to very varied opinions, but everything new has pretty good speeds. If you are looking for argentinian tv shows or movies this is the place for you

Here in Argentina, there are no organizations, institutions or government branches fighting against piracy.
Bootleg dvds are sold in the street without any worries, you can even see cops talking to the guys selling them. Besides, they probably are in the business, that wouldn't surprise me at all.
They sell dvds in the train, bus and subways too, they just get up and start offering people the latest movies and albums.
Almost everyone downloads stuff and just just a small portion of the companies use legal software (including american companies)

So there are more than just a few or handful of country's that can host trackers. I thought that Sweden ( at least of late, that is), China, and I think the Philipeans (correct me if I"m wrong on that here) and maybe some others were just the last few remaining.

I didn't know about the SA countrys having little regulation against P2P. Good to see that at least. :)

We did have the Kazaa warnings a few years ago.....and some scammers made fake warning letters, remember? Otherwise we are ok.
Of course people, we have shitty ISPs here too :biggrin:, perhaps shittier than most of yours :klatsch_3:. We get filtered, blocked, ripped off and sometimes the connection sucks! And there a was a failed 4gb/month system a couple of years ago. And is sort of expensive.

Fibertel sucks, but not as much as Arnet, Sion and Telecentro. Speedy on the other side, can be great or terrible, depending on where you live.
Anyway I always call them (Speedy) and say I don't want the service anymore because I can't afford it, and they extend the promotional price for a few months. I've been doing it since 2006 :biggrin:. Until they said they won't extend it anymore, offered me a discount on an upgrade from 512k to 1mb, and I agreed. 3 weeks later I received a letter saying "We double the speed of 512k connections for free!! Enjoy your 1mb connection" I felt so pwned!!

My theory is that all of our ISPs are so overloaded that they have to engage on shaping and filtering to avoid having to buy better equipment. You can "feed" 10 people that use their connection for surfing and e-mailing if you shape a P2Per - and they all pay the same. From a commercial point of view this is a great move. :mad:

You are right, specially for Arnet and Ciudad Internet. Remember they offered 3mb and 5mb? You could hardly squeeze 2mb on non-peak hours.

You mean digitalization? That's one of the things preventing me from switching to DSL. You need to pay your phone company for it and the ISP for their service, and when there's no Internet connectivity both companies start blaming each other :eek13:

Good tracker, somewhat localized content, will appeal mostly to spanish speakers. Not many HD or lossless audio content, but i like it very much. Strong point is the DVDR(mostly dvd5) category. Friendly people and community, recommended.

Well...look's like i'm connected to a Kligonian ISP.I have payd 50e per install with 2 MB download speed.

Yeah right..i'm donwloading with 200kbs when the wind don't blow very fast.

Yes, that's what I mean, I just tried to make it sound as ridiculous as it is, since it is not something to install, but to activate in any case.
ANd yes, even if you hire Speedy from Telefonica, even them will redirect you to eachother. It actually happened to me, my ADSL went to dial up speeds because of a ticking sound (a short in the line), thank god the line started to make static noises and the guys from 114 believed me it was the line and not Speedy.

I think I know which one you're talking about... Have you tried uTorrent 1.9? Have heard it can speed things up.
