Whats a Torrent file:
A .torrent file is a small file around 10kb(could be a bit larger or smaller), that lets you connect with people that have the larger file(s) you need. You can download all sorts of electronic files such as .mp3,.wma,.avi,.wmv and any others that you may have on your computer.
Bit Torrent Program:
We suggest downloading uTorrent for all your Bit Torrent needs. uTorrent is a Bit Torrent Program, which is the program that let's the .torrent file download the larger file(s) your looking for. Simply install a Bit Torrent Program then download and open your .torrent file in a Bit Torrent Program and your real file(s) will start downloading right away. Download uTorrent
Note: uTorrent has NO SPY-WARE and it is Completely FREE.
Here is a Step By Step View of how downloading with .torrent files works:
1. You simply download and install a Bit Torrent Program which is free of charge.
2. Then download a .torrent file of the mix tape or video you would like to download.
3. The content will start downloading(leeching,saving) and uploading(seeding,sharing) what you have downloaded to others at the same time.
4. When your download is complete it should automatically start uploading(seeding,sharing) to others who are not as yet finished getting the content.
5. Seed(share) for as long as you can, but not if your bandwidth is restricted or if your Internet Service Provider doesn't like you to upload for to long. To be safe you may seed for 2-3 hours then stop your torrents for 15-20 minutes and seed for another 2-3 hours. Remember this one thing, do not download or seed a torrent all day or your Internet Service Provider might slow your speeds down.
Here's Some Extra Notes to Clear up a Question i was getting a lot:
What is an Uploader and What is Seeding??
Being an Uploader means to add new torrents to the site and Seed(Share) them until others can Seed(Share) without the Uploader. Seeding(Sharing with Downloaders) means your sharing the full download you got from the Uploader through the torrent. Now lets think about this for a second, the Uploader makes torrents to share downloads with us. Seeders are Uploaders and anyone that has fully downloaded what's being shared through the torrent. Seeding Your Torrent
What is a Seeder?
A seeder is anyone who has finished downloading a file and keeps there program open to share it with the rest of us.
How Do I keep seeding to improve my ratio?
Once you have opened a torrent and completely downloaded the mixtape or video, your Bit Torrent Client will start to seed without you telling it to.
Now if you have removed that torrent from the list and later decide to seed it. Open that torrent by clicking on it and after you have opened the torrent it will ask you where you want to save it to. When it asks you where you want to save it to, you must point it to the folder where the file or files are located. It's best to keep all your Bit Torrent downloads in the same folder.
Note: if you point the save as window to the wrong folder it will start trying download instead of uploading(sharing) because it will think you don't have the proper content.

With uTorrent *Click Here To Download*
1. Go to “File” menu and select “Create new Torrent” (or press CTRL + N on your keyboard)
2. Select the files and/or directories you want to add to your torrent.
3. Input the following address in the tracker address field: http://www.tapedown.com:6969/announce
4. Do NOT tick the private torrent box.

Q. When I use Peer Guardian 2 files won't download?
A. Basically if you use Peer Guardian 2 go to List Manager ---> listpermallow.p2b ---> open list ---> add --> 207.58.171.223, you need to add that ip address as start and ending ip. The reason the tracker is blocked is because we fall within a range of ip addresses that are owned by my host. Maybe one of the thousands of sites my host is hosting did something "Educational" because thats the category in the list we fall under and the list makers blocked the whole ip range.

Q. How to Uninstall the 2gb ratio fix tool bar?
A. Step-by-step instructions how to uninstall the tool bar:

Q. Why Does My Ratio Seem Low Even Though I Seed Good??
A. Ratio is how much you download verses how much you upload. If you Upload 230GBs and Download 200GBs your ratio isn't going to be a high number. Your ratio will be 1.15 because the more you download the less your ratio is going to be. That's fine though because since you uploaded 230GBs and downloaded 200GBs you can download 30GBs of content before your ratio is at 1. Also another example is if someone uploads 10GBs and downloads 1GBs there ratio will be 10.0 but they can only download 9 more GBs before they get to a ratio of 1. hope this explains how it all works a little better.
Q. Why can't I play a video that I downloaded from this site??
A. Most likely if you can't play a video from this site you don't have the proper codec installed on your system. A codec is a program capable of performing encoding and decoding of digital data streams or signals. The best codec pack that will allow you to play most videos you download from the internet is:
