The 12-year-long development soap opera that was Duke Nukem Forever ended on a disappointing note. More disappointing for publisher Take-Two Interactive, which invested over $12 million in the game. Understandably, Take-Two is suing 3D Realms.

Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. filed a breach of contract suit against Apogee Software Ltd. this week in a Manhattan Court over the developer's "continually delayed" Duke Nukem sequel. Details of the suit were not disclosed in a report by Bloomberg, nor has the New York County Civil Court provided specifics about the damages Take-Two is seeking.

Let's hope that take two gets the complete duke nukem rights.
Duke Nukem was my favorite games character for a long time. It would be very great if we could have a new version...

Oh yes, that would be very great, after 12 (or 13-14 when the game will be finished) years someting new from the Duke! :D
But is it really new? I would say it is a rebirth :P

Now the serious part: strangely enough, IGN site has new updated pictures from the game, dating may 11th  What gives?

It seems to be in development. (http://media.pc.ign.com/media/003/003880/imgs_1.html)

This game can't just die! Some big company HAS to take over.

These days I've listened to an audio podcast that made me crack. One of them said something about Broussard (one of 3drealms owner) taking all the money from Take Two to complete his online porn library. Rofl.

Who knows..? But I doubt it.

By the way, this (http://duke.a-13.net/) is an interesting read. It's a retrospective from the current times to when DNF had just been announced, and lists all the games, events and technological advancements that took place during those 12 years.
