GFT to reopen Invite Applications

On 5/9/2009 (This Saturday), GFT will be opening up invite applications again. Please do NOT join the channel before that date, as we will not be accepting applications until 12:00PM (noon) EST (5PM GMT).

I think it means IRC PMs - i.e. private conversations. In that case, it shouldn't be too different from What.cd's, for example.

It is a good thing they're doing it again,the tracker is so dead over there with no active leechers most of the time,so hopefully they can turn it into another IPT soon.

Looks like it won't happen. They are blaming traders and filesharingtalk for this.

Invites: CLOSED!!!!!!!! o/ There wont be any invites in saturday most you can thank to Traders! We will be open when FST closes for good ^^

Don't add GFT as a one more tracker to your tracker list.
Reason:
Torrent download in 3 or 4 days
They have great pretime but not much seeder activity on torrent
Their max. seeder on torrent is like 20
U r able to find 1 seeder on most of tracker but u never able to connect to this 1 seeder
It's a good site only for pretime not for downloading stuff

P.S I believe TL is greatest tracker on the whole planet

Yes it was. They are facing server issues and they are blaming traders. They must fix their server than start to care about traders. Making such statements is going to encourage more traders and they think they can effect FST by making such statements lol. They are going to make FST more popular.

Bummer! And I had my hopes high. I was all getting ready for the interview. Maybe sometime in the future. And I agree to KalPenn, they won't make FST close because of this LOL, it looked like a child attitude. :mad2:

how many members does gft have?
trackers with less than 10000 members tend to have very poor speeds and retention.

i am looking for this ratioless tracker a half a year
and a few days ago i had hope
but now... :(
