# Release: Q3 2009

How do you follow up the critical, commercial, and artistic success of 2007's BioShock? The narrative-driven shooter was one of those rare games that managed to balance art style, and gameplay into a cohesive package. The game's commercial success for 2K and the fans' demand for more pretty much guaranteed a sequel of some kind. So, as you can probably imagine, we've been curious to find out what's going on with the sequel, which is being developed by 2K Marin, a newly minted studio in the 2K stable created specifically to work on the game. Since Marin is just a stone's throw from GameSpot's home office, we stopped by the new studio to get a look at the game and chat with the team about its work on one of the most anticipated sequels of 2009. Please be advised that this preview may contain story spoilers.

Which version do you have? Razor or Reloaded?

SBfreak
13.02.10, 11:44
Have you done these before playing?
1.update direct x to February 2010.
2.update graphic drivers.

Aurion
13.02.10, 16:38
Gone through the demo for a couple of minutes, and what I honestly thinl is ... they improved the enviroments specific details in terms of tiny pics around walls, stairways & doors, not to mention the character's smal details including fingers, sharp drillers & bood spits.

All in all, they kept the same old storyline but adding slight twist of new suspense acts,on the other hand focusing in getting the whole gaming experience into a higher level.

limpep121
15.02.10, 03:05
Which version do you have? Razor or Reloaded?

using the reloaded version and on latest drivers (gfx dual 7600 gt)

I finished the game and it's not as good as the first. I don't know why but it feels like something missing, if you loved the first and want more of the story about rapture it is recommended for others only if you don't have anything else to play.
