FirePhoenix is an apps such as UltraSurf or FreeGate, but witch seems to have some extented abilities:

FirePhoenix (FP) protects all your Internet applications and protocols, not only web (http) traffic. It encrypts your data and hides your IP address when you send/receive emails, play networked games, chat with instant messengers (MSN, Yahoo Messenger, AOL IM, etc.), receive streaming media, as well as browse the web.

My problem is that that I don't understand how it exactly works: the only documentation I have found is in chinese, and google translation is awfull. In particular, how to use it for "semi anonymous torrenting" ??
Moreover, as this apps seems to handle the whole internet traffic, were it possible to use it fo "complete anonymous torrenting" ??

I once tried this app. It's based on OpenVPN - which has a lot of settings, so maybe it's possible to use it for semi-anonymous torrenting instead of tunneling all your traffic, but I'm not sure.

After blindly guessing how to connect, I got a chinese IP - but speeds were awful.

First of all, there was a Trojan detected upon installation called "DNSChanger",but anyway,I did the setup, then loaded it,but then nothing happened,I was still with my current IP,I tried hovering between other tabs, but there were only 3 clickable options in the second tab.

Since this is based on OVPN, you may be able to get it to work with OpenVPN-GUI. :top:
