It will still be BitTorrent. BitTorrent protocol, in my mind, is the perfect way to transfer files; companies which have embraced BT have realised this.

If Rapidshare keeps the wait times and speed limitations, I'd say BitTorrent. Unless your country doesn't like filesharing...

I think that raipdshare is good only as a business if you want premium service and files.

Torrenting opens up the door to anyone who has a computer and willing to use it.

The future I believe is hard to decide but torrent looks like it will win the battle. What is not to like about sharing?!!!

We all benefit! (well the common folks not the business, unless they realize a way to profit from it which I assume they will soon)

Some say that I2P Anonymous Network - I2P (http://www.i2p2.de/index.html) (or alike) is the future of p2p filesharing. Although I doubt that - just because they don't know who sent the file it won't detain them to go after the middle man for making illegal content available.

Me neither

TPB was supposed to be working on a new P2P protocol that'd overcome BitTorrent, but I never heard about it again... not that they have time for it right now with the court case, either.
